When Will it Start, How Often and How Long?

Periods Usually start between the ages of 10 and 15, the average age is 12 but this isn’t always the case.


when your breasts start to grow your period will probably start around 2 years after. Once your breasts start Forming you may notice you will develop pubic hair on your vagina and under your arms.


usually around 6 months before your period you may notice white discharge from your vagina.

periods can last as little as 2 days and as long as 8 days. It is usually around 28 days between the start of one period and the next. This can vary between 20 and 30 days - everyone’s cycle is different. It is handy to use a period tracker or calendar to count your days and keep track of when you are due to start your next period.
